The Jim and Betty Kilgore Scholarship for Health Sciences

Betty Kilgore’s late husband, Jimmie, passed away in September of 2022. As she plans their legacy, she wants to donate their money to do something good upon their passing. Betty has met multiple TCC students who have served her at Montereau Retirement Village. She said that these employees have been very good to her. Many of them attend TCC and are studying Information Technology, Cyber Security, Nursing and other Health Sciences. She wants to help them pursue their education and better their future

Student must have a 2.8 GPA.
Student must be majoring in the Health Sciences field.
Donor requests that a Montereau employee have preference.
The student can receive funding for tuition up to $1500/semester, based on number of hours enrolled
12+ hrs = $1500
11 hrs = $1375
10 hrs = $1250
9 hrs = $1125
6 hrs = $750
Funds can be used for tuition, fees, books and living expenses
