Cleora Catherine Borgmier Music Education Scholarship

Kathryn “Kelly” Jennings made a gift from the estate of her mother, Cleora C. Borgmier in order to provide a sustained scholarship supporting students pursuing a degree and career in music education,
Cleora, known as “Cora”, is Kelly’s late mother and her greatest skill was teaching and she loved music. She was a passionate educator, teaching various grades and starting the first Kindergarten in her hometown. She also enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

The student must be a second-year student studying music education.
The recipient must answer an essay question that demonstrates their interest and experience in music education.
The recipient must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
