The Lyons Family Endowed Nursing Student Scholarships

This scholarship is named in honor of Joyce Lyons who graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Nursing with her Masters degree. In 1980, she joined the TCC faculty as an instructor in the TCC Nursing Program and retired in 2000. The scholarships support students with financial need who have been accepted into TCC’s Nursing Program and have completed at least one semester. The scholarship will only be awarded to TCC nursing students who submit with their scholarship application two letters of recommendation from nursing faculty stating the student has been observed exhibiting care and compassion.
